What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the technical authority in enterprise opportunities, managing discovery, evaluation design, and architecture recommendations
- Collaborate with Strategic Sales Directors to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deals from initial conversation through deployment
- Translate industrial engineering concepts into business language for diverse audiences, including plant floor engineers and C-suite executives
- Develop and maintain reusable technical collateral such as reference architectures and deployment guides
- Represent Copia at industry events, showcasing expertise in OT security and industrial automation modernization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8 to 12+ years in industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, or technical consulting with direct customer-facing responsibility
- 3+ years in solutions engineering or pre-sales architecture supporting complex enterprise deals
- Direct hands-on experience with major PLC platforms such as Rockwell Logix or Siemens TIA Portal
- Working knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and industrial networking environments
- Proven ability to engage with OT, IT Security, and Executive stakeholders within the same account
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Former controls engineer or automation system integrator background
- Experience with Git or version control systems in any environment
- Certifications such as GICSP, CSSA, or similar OT security credentials
- Industrial networking or security architecture experience in OT contexts
- Existing relationships within industrial automation or critical infrastructure communities
