Job Description
- Req#: 328354
- Should possess knowledge & work experience in structural integrity assessment of aero engine component
- HCF & LCF life assessment, Limit, Ultimate & Failure load assessments and damage tolerance calculations
- Hands on experience in Hypermesh / Nastran / composite
- Proficiency in dynamic analysis including normal engine running vibrations, extreme vibrations under fan blade off
- Thermal stress analysis, Linear / Non-linear Transient Analysis
- Skilled in finding root cause of failure and redesign of aero engine components
- Hand calculation & Engineering Judgement
- Test correlation and validation, engine test proposal, technical report writing – Certification reports as per CS-E (520,525,800 & 810) requirements
- Component design
- Tool Knowledge – Ansys WB & APDL
- Any CAD tools. Preferably Siemens NX (Modeling, Detailing, Additive design, Topology optimization)
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
