- Utilize Java and other technical skillsets to develop test automation.
- Run automation and do root cause analysis on failures.
- Run manual test scenarios to verify functionality.
- Troubleshoot and isolate issues, submit bugs, and work with developers.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to assist on projects and tasks.
- Enrolled in an IT Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic computer concepts.
- Desire to work in a technical field.
- Java required. Proven ability to code; completed coding projects.
- Strong OOP preferred.
- Curious, inquisitive and willing to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well organized and have the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to complete routine tasks independently over time. This includes gaining the functional, technical and problem-solving skills needed to complete assignments.

Our Lincoln, RI office is seeking a QA Developer Intern who will assist team members by performing tasks necessary to support the QA (Quality Assurance) team, as well as build foundational skills in Java programming, automated testing, the Insurance Industry, and the field of Software Quality Assurance.
You will be embedded within a dynamic team working with the latest technologies, processes, and development methodologies. This is an excellent opportunity learn software development and the IT Industry while helping to ensure quality and stability of critical insurance applications.
Location:
Open to full-time remote work, or hybrid onsite in our Lincoln, RI office.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday during normal business hours, as schedule allows.
Hourly rate: $20 or $22 depending on year in school
