      ZoomCare is seeking a Satellite Lab Associate to join our team! The Satellite Lab Associate is responsible for delivering a consistent Perfect Visit experience at the Super clinics through aiding providers in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. This includes learning to operate, troubleshoot, and run quality control for various machines for a moderately complex laboratory. Additionally excellent documentation and attention to detail will be required.

      SCHEDULE AND TRAINING
      • ZoomCare Tualatin Valley Super: Thursday-Saturday: 7:30am-8:00pm
      • Clinic Positions require you attend 3-4 weeks of training. The first week will be at our Sellwood location and partially remote. The remaining weeks of training will include traveling to multiple clinics in the area.u00A0
      • Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional and mandatory training requirements that are outside the regular shift hours.

      • Ensure reagents and supplies are ordered when needed.
      • Perform and report laboratory tests according to instructions, documenting results and reviewing for accuracy.
      • Handle biohazardous blood and body fluids while following universal precautions.
      • Prepare samples for analysis by following documented protocols.
      • Recognize abnormal distributions in a run as well as individual resulting abnormalities. Repeat abnormal results as required and ensure providers are notified of critical values.
      • Follow all safety precautions and adhere to laboratory processes.
      • Analyze laboratory reports for accuracy.
      • Ensure specimens are properly labeled and are processed for the correct patient.
      • Ensure machine operator proficiency requirements are met.
      • Perform and document maintenance and cleaning of work spaces and instruments.
      • Prepare various solutions such as calibrators, QC, reagents and maintaining related documentation.
      • Run and document Quality Control tests and results per protocol.
      • Perform troubleshooting as required.
      • Enter results into the Laboratory Information System.
      • Exhibit strong attention to detail and adherence to laboratory processes.
      • Communicate with associates, providers, and the Help Team as needed.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      QUALIFICATIONSu00A0
      • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
      • Bacheloru2019s degree in relevant field, preferred.
      • 1+ year of clinical experience, preferably with a Laboratory focus.
      • 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
      • 1+ years experience as a ZoomCare ZA/MA, preferred.
      • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
      • Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
      • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
      • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
      • Able to easily navigate a computer and learn new software.
      • Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
      • Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
      • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.

      • Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
      • Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.

      • Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.u00A0
      • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
      • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
      • Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
      • Ability to be fit tested and wear a respirator, when required.
