      Job Description

      As part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Global Supply Chain AI/ML Team you will play a key role in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI-based solutions tailored for Supply Chain. This position focuses on applying advanced artificial intelligence techniques to solve complex Supply Chain challenges, delivering impactful results that enhance efficiency and drive productivity. This position will be responsible for overseeing development and deployment of the AI solutions for Supply Chain operations for all Aero Sites as well as in-depth collaboration with other Lockheed Business Areas.

      What You Will be Doing:

      Lead and implement robust software development practices to ensure quality, scalability, and sustainability of AI solutions.
      Engage in requirements gathering to understand production operations challenges, capturing critical details to inform solution design.
      Design, develop, and test AI applications tailored to address supply chain use cases.
      Oversee solution deployment and user training, ensuring seamless integration and practical usability.
      Drive change management initiatives by working closely with users to promote adoption and adaptability of new AI solutions.
      Champion software sustainability, ensuring that AI solutions remain reliable, adaptable, and future-ready.
      In this role, your expertise in artificial intelligence will directly support Lockheed Martin's Global Supply Chain, optimizing processes and improving efficiency across the organization.

      As part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Operations Simulation and Modeling team, you will play a key role in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI-based solutions tailored for production operations. This position focuses on applying advanced artificial intelligence techniques to solve complex operational challenges, delivering impactful results that enhance efficiency and drive productivity. This Lead position will be responsible for overseeing development and deployment of the AI solutions for manufacturing operations for the Marietta and Greenville sites.

      - Masters degree from an accredited college in a Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
      - Experience with unit tests, style guides, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines
      - Experience with jenkins, gitdocs, docker
      - Experience with large language models and natural language processing
      - Experience with AI development tools and processes- Experience with deep learning libraries to train and build new models
      - Experience with NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit, Pandas, SciPy, etc.
      - Experience with Docker, Git [GitLab, GitHub], Continuous Integration [CI], Continuous Deployment [CD], unit testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Unittest)
      - Experience with aircraft manufacturing processes
      - Strong organization and communication skills

      Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

      National Pay Statement

      Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,200 - $225,975. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
      Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
      (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
