Job Description
You will be the Logistics Support Specialist for the Precision Fires IES team. Our team is responsible for sustaining the Precision Fires Integrated Engineering Solutions program—coordinating supply chains, managing hardware movements, and ensuring all logistics activities align with the program schedule and mission critical goals.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Logistics Support Specialist you will be responsible for delivering seamless logistics support that keeps the program on track. You’ll act as the central hub for material and hardware flow, collaborate with cross functional points of contact, and ensure compliance with ITAR and security requirements while providing clear status updates to the program leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of hardware, tooling, and test equipment for lab and field activities.
• Manage the tracking, calibration, and compliance of all precision tooling and test assets.
• Serve as the primary liaison between program points of contact and functional groups (engineering, test, finance, etc.) to provide timely logistics status.
• Support multiple contracts simultaneously, juggling priority changes and ensuring all deliverables meet schedule milestones.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation, export control (ITAR) compliance, and Security (Secret clearance) requirements.
• Assist project managers with logistics related risk identification, mitigation planning, and reporting.
• Generate and disseminate regular logistics dashboards, variance reports, and after action reviews.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members and internal customers on logistics processes and best practices.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $52,300 - $92,230. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
