Actively engage in a research topic in a relevant area - Support student research and learning through supervision and mentoring of selected students
- Contribute to curriculum review and innovation.
- Practice continuous quality improvement of the courses and content delivered by the department
- Active participation in scientific/educational conferences and Continued Education.
- Faculty Senate
- Departmental Reviews (as required).
- Faculty Meetings (as required).
- Special Committee Assignments (as assigned by the Dean).
- Administrative roles, as assigned by the Chair of the Department and/or the Dean.
- Outreach efforts in the local community.
- Contribute to the academic advisory system for all students enrolled on the DVM program.
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree
- Applicants with a completed Internship program will be considered for the position.
- Experience teaching Small Animal Surgery in the Veterinary Medicine curriculum.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A commitment to the education of DVM professionals.
- The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a positive attitude toward student enrichment in all areas of academic and practical preparatory coursework.
- Contribute to scientific literature.
- This is a full time position in the Caribbean island of Grenada.
