      Job Description

      The ICG ORM Framework Strategy SVP will be part of the Strategic Initiative Oversight Team within ICG ORM. The role will take the lead on behalf of ICG ORM coverage team, working with the Head of Strategic Initiative Oversight and ICG ORM Leadership, to provide strategic inputs on ORM framework design, and guidance and challenge to 1LOD for ICG business implementation. This is critical given the evolving ORM framework in light of the transformation, as well as the need for BAU framework execution. This role will serve as a conduit for ICG ORM, applying knowledge on ORM framework and ICG business, to synthesis and articulate the view points from 2LOD coverage team to drive quality execution of ORM framework. This covers a range of ORM framework components including MCA/RSCA, Risk Identification, Risk Appetite, Scenario Analysis, Lessons Learned, etc. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the ORM Policy/Framework team, ICG Risk and Controls and ORM leadership team.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Represent ICG ORM in various framework design discussions within ORM to provide ICG business coverage team inputs and advocate for framework uplift
      • Engage with 1LOD ICG to discuss and review business framework execution, and represent ICG ORM in relevant governance and working group meetings with 1LOD to provide ongoing input and challenge
      • Deliver and document 2LOD ICG ORM challenge as required under the ORM programs, including quarterly and annual challenge for Risk Appetite, Risk Identification/KI, scenario etc.
      • Evaluate pain points in the business framework execution process, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assess solutions and drive enhancement
      • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for ICG ORM for framework related inquiries
      • Support the implementation of evolving framework elements at the ICG level, including executing necessary review and challenge

      Qualifications:

      • 10+ years relevant experience
      • Strong understanding of Operational Risk Management framework tools including Risk and Control Assessments, Risk Identification and Monitoring, Lessons Learned, etc.
      • Good knowledge of Institutional Client products and services
      • Experience with operational risk framework design and implementation within a complex financial institution is strongly preferred
      • Superior communication (verbal and written), facilitation and consensus-building skills. Ability to effectively communicate with senior ICG leadership.
      • Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of positive influence
      • Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable tackling complex problems and breaking these down into manageable pieces

      • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
