- Providing reliable and approachable first line support for EMIS system users in response to problem resolution tickets they have raised
- Configuring templates, documents and screens relating to other clinical team activities in line with hospice requirements
- Testing, documenting and communicating any system changes clearly
- Supporting clinical teams maintain their data quality
- Helping clinical service system champions keep up to date and competent with relevant EMIS processes, and help them train new champions

Job summary
This new role of Patient Database Administrator will support the clinical administration and IT teams to ensure the EMIS clinical records system is configured, maintained and developed to enable clinical teams to keep safe, effective data and focus on their vital roles of caring for patients and their families.
We are seeking a Patient Database Administrator with:
This role will include the need to travel to our Warwick site and occasionally our Rugby site, from a regular base at Coventry.
This role will require a standard DBS check because it involves working in an adult healthcare environment.
Other roles you may have experience of might include: Database Administrator, System Administrator, IT Helpdesk Assistant and Clinical Office Administrator.

This role will support our work by keeping our critical patient database system correctly configured, user-friendly and accurate, enabling all our clinical staff to care safely and effectively for people diagnosed with terminal illnesses and their families.
