Hillside School District Hillside Public School District is accepting applications for a Teacher Pre-Apprentice Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities will include planning/organizing outreach to recruit students, schools and community partners through a combinationof in-person and virtual school visits, award ceremonies and celebrations, presentations, coordinate field trips and guest speakers with United Brotherhood of Carpenters, coordinate with Maplewoodshop to acquire all supplies and equipment, create highly cooperative education, internship and job shadowing opportunities for students in the pre-apprenticeship programs in accordance with NJDOL and NJDOE regulations, prepare written reports, proposals and plans as required, provide after school tutoring 1-2 days per week, and other duties as assigned based on grant requirements. Qualifications/Requirements:
-Must have appropropriate NJ teacher certification
-Must have knowledge of NJSLS, MTSS and RTI framework
-Teaching pre-apprenticeship dual enrollment course
