      TEAM LEADER, MAINTENANCE

      The Opportunity:

      We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Paper Mill operations for a Maintenance Team Leader. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent. The successful applicant will be given on the job training to perform duties such as but not limited to:

      · Safety Leadership

      · Work Order Administration

      · Materials Management

      · Daily Maintenance Scheduling

      · Maintenance Crew Supervision and Leadership

      · Payroll Data Validation

      · Identification of training needs and allocation of resources

      · Human Capitol Resource Management

      · Budgeting, Cost Control and Reliability

      We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined one million tonnes of product and employ over 1000 employees.

      Irving Paper, Limited is a leading producer of specialty grade Supercalendered (SC) papers for flyers and magazines. Our technology gives us the flexibility to manufacture a full range of paper grades (from SCB to SCA+). We are the largest producer of supercalendered paper in North America and supply customers with world class magazine and catalogue paper.

      You Have:

      • Education Required: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technologist, or Journeyman Tradesperson or equivalent.
      • Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance or Reliability in heavy industry. Direct Pulp & Paper experience would be considered an asset.
      • Safety Leadership, knowledge & experience
      • Supervisory experience in a heavy industrial setting
      • CMMS Experience, ideally with JD Edwards/Oracle
