What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work on break-fix issues with customers and escalate to the support team as necessary
- Optimize customer systems to ensure peak performance and satisfaction
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with support teams and customers, leading to referrals and renewals
- Act as the escalation manager for high-impact issues, ensuring timely communication to stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring completion of action items and special projects as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 3-5 years of support experience in a Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience
- Expert understanding of network and application protocols; Cisco/Juniper certification preferred
- Hands-on experience with cloud/SaaS products and knowledge of ISP, CDN, and cloud service provider networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on data-driven messaging
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with hypervisors (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V) and container administration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks, particularly JavaScript and Python
- Experience administering Linux-based operating systems
- Ability to work effectively in a remote or virtual team environment
- Strong initiative and a passion for learning new skills and technologies
