      Technical Sales Senior Engineer - Midland

      LOCATION: Midland - Texas - USA

      DEPARTMENT: TECHNICAL SALES

      Purpose: Tenaris products and discovers those needed for the future, applying products into new applications, and technically proving Tenaris value. Sells Tenaris products and services through engineered, value-based solutions.

      Main Responsibilities:

      • Builds high-quality, lasting technical relationship, guided by a strong understanding of customer situations.
      • Connects customer ideas with product development organization and predicts future applications and products.
      • Discovers opportunities, adds value to customer operations, proves differentiation. Assists in the development and distribution of sales tools with a proactive sales approach.
      • Offers value added services (string design, running services inspection, etc.) as an empowered member of the customer team.
      • Assists a team, and at times leads the customer investigation and claims management process.
      • Provides a technical support role.
      • Participates in setting and reviewing customer specific sales strategies.
      • Provides technical assistance services to final customers ensuring the correct use of Tenaris products.
      • Provides feedback from the field about product performance and general on field information valuable for Tenaris.

      Special Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required

      • 4 year Engineering Degree (any discipline)
      • 1-3 years of experience in customer service and/or sales
      • 1-3 years of experience working in Oil & Gas Industry
      • General knowledge of OCTG
      • Flexibility to travel as needed
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
