      Summary:

      To function as an inside sales person for the Repair department. This position is responsible for researching existing components, evaluating returned items, estimating repair materials and costs associated with them; along with creating production order routings for evaluations.

      Responsibilities:

      • Issue RGA paperwork to the customer for equipment to be repaired.
      • Create preliminary routings and production orders for evaluating incoming items to see if they can be repaired.
      • Assist manufacturing operations with determining the best way to repair components and parts.
      • Develop cost and time estimates to repair a given item.
      • Drawing, parts and pricing research.
      • Create and follow up on quotes and orders.
      • Document and review repair history.
      • Track customer orders.
      • Assist Assembly personnel with discrepancies.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Requirements:

      • A technical school or college level degree and or equivalent experience desired.
      • Minimum of a two to three year experience in the pulp and paper or supporting industry is desired.
      • Experience working around or on Paper Machine equipment a plus.
      • SAP experience highly desired
      • Proficient in the use of computers utilizing Windows based programs as well as being able to learn and utilize the SAP system and legacy systems for every day work requirements.
      • Strong communication skills, both, verbal and in writing with good customer relation skills.
      • Pertinent organizational skills necessary to meet deadlines, work under stress and perform in a multitasking role.
      • Ability to operate independent of daily direction, i.e. "sees what needs to be done and does it." If necessary works overtime.
      • Ability to operate within a team structure
      • Strong communication skills, both, verbal and in writing.
      • Strong Customer relation skills.
      • A good mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials is required.
      • Knowledge of a manufacturing facility (machining, welding and assembly, etc.).
      • Proficient in the use of computers utilizing Windows based programs as well as being able to learn and utilize the SAP ERP system and the legacy AS400 BPCS system for every day work requirements
