Job Description
- Req#: 2197
- Support testing by efficiently operating equipment and ensuring accurate results and records. Provide technical assistance and resolution when problems are encountered before, during, and after testing.
- Perform set-up and installation of equipment, instrumentation, cable routing, soldering and checkout before, during and after the test.
- Support the maintenance, installation and repair of test equipment to maximize operational availability.
- Document test procedures and installations. Provide guidance with data calculation.
- AAS or Bachelors in related discipline
- 3+ years in related discipline or;
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
- Troubleshooting mechancial or electrical problems
- Electrical and electronic principles
- Perform operations and execute moderately complex test procedures for engineering, scientific, or real-time data acquisition
- Read and understand engineering plans and specifications
- Read drawings and troubleshoot
- Microsoft Office

Working at Calspan Test Services state of the art automotive facility in Buffalo, New York, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and upgrading equipment to support laboratory automotive crash testing.
