      Job Overview

      Performs the tasks necessary to keep factory operating, repairing equipment used in the facility, Preventative and unscheduled maintenance on equipment in the facility including HVAC systems. Expertly performs one of the two Specialty Responsibilities listed below.

      Specialty Responsibilities “A: Welder” (Must meet all the requirements of a maintenance Tech I plus the items listed below)

      • Promote and Maintain a safe work environment
      • Good attendance, demonstrated by maintaining less than 5 points for at least 3 months
      • Must be able to expertly weld multiple areas (i.e. overhead welding, tube welding, etc.)
      • Advance welding equipment maintenance knowledge
      • Must be able to weld both steel and aluminum to the required quality standard
      • Capable of and willing to train others
      • Knowledge of Welding defects and capable of identifying them visually
      • Advanced knowledge of root, penetration, leg length measurements and weld draw
      • Ability to troubleshoot weld defects
      • Understanding of power supply/gas parameters and how to determine optimal settings.
      • Ability and willingness to move amongst multiple areas in Maintenance to fill in where necessary
      • Other duties as assigned
      • Specialty Responsibilities “B: Electronic Technician” (Must meet all the requirements of a maintenance Tech I plus the items listed below)
      • Promote and Maintain a safe work environment
      • Good attendance, demonstrated by maintaining less than 5 points for at least 3 months
      • Perform testing, diagnostics, and repairs on all advanced computer controlled electrical and electronic equipment in facility – both Production and Facility related.

      Qualifications

      • 3 years’ experience in a similar industrial setting
      • Degree in Industrial Electronics preferred
      • Experience with Fanuc and CNC controls
      • HVAC system experience preferred
      • Read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate in English
      • Attention to detail
      • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing
      • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
      • Good hand eye coordination
      • Valid Driver’s License
