What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support qualitative data collection and analysis for research projects
- Develop social media content and visual materials to share research findings
- Craft public-facing messages for both academic and community audiences
- Maintain research article databases and organizational support for events
- Assist in planning and coordinating meetings and community engagement activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree and up to 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination
- Strong interest in climate change, aging, and public health topics
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with qualitative research methods and data analysis
- Familiarity with social media outreach platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Knowledge of design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working with communities in New York State and understanding of regional dynamics
