Thermal Design: Working with other engineering team members to gather requirements and build thermal solutions to achieve design targets and specifications.
Thermal Validation: Characterize thermal designs and electronic assemblies: Building-up physical prototype assemblies, instrumenting those assemblies for testing, carrying out testing with specific diagnostic software, summarizing data, disassembling, modifying and reassembling systems.
Pursuing BSME degree (or greater)
Fundamental understanding of and passion for heat transfer and fluid mechanics
Culture of continuous learning, ongoing process improvement, and a first-principles approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Hands on experience related to product development (robotics, school projects, previous internships, etc)
Experience with thermal simulation tools such as Fluent, Icepak or Flotherm
Hands-on experience in thermal testing (using automated data acquisition, temperature measurements, system assembly, and data analysis techniques)

We’re looking for students pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree within a relevant or related field.

The hourly rate for our interns is 19 USD - 93 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.You will also be eligible for Intern benefits . NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
