What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a business owner for assigned artist/vendor partners, managing forecasting and operations to achieve merchandise business objectives
- Oversee logistics and inventory management for live events, ensuring optimal product availability
- Facilitate negotiations with external vendors to meet profitability goals
- Hire, manage, and monitor independent contractors for event operations
- Innovate in-venue experiences for artists and fans through improved operational processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of experience managing merchandise operations for live events with demonstrated revenue growth
- Proven track record of hiring and managing independent contractors or distributed teams
- Experience with logistics coordination from production through point-of-sale, including shipping operations
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA or relevant advanced degree in business, operations management, or supply chain management
- 7+ years of experience in event merchandise operations with P&L ownership
- Experience implementing technology solutions that improved sales conversion rates
- Background in venue operations, including billing systems and capacity planning
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
