      The Driver Trainee serves our customers by being trained to perform the job duties of three different positions within the sales team and also to provide coverage for these positions during absences.
      Job Duties:
      • Delivers, stocks, rotates, displays and maintains all products at customer locations according to established standards.
      • Maintains a good working relationship with: customers and consumers at customer locations; account and area managers at Pepsi; and other internal employees at Pepsi (e.g. warehouse employees, sales equipment employees).
      • Invoices customers for sales; collects money.
      • Communicates with retailers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that may arise in the store.
      • Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. DOT logs, sales summaries, mileage and merchandising logs); maintains confidentiality of product pricing, promotions and other sensitive information.
      • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
      Requirements:
      •Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Candidates must obtain a temporary Commercial Driver's License permit, with a Class A and air brakes endorsement prior to first day of employment. Must pass and obtain a Commercial Driver's License, with a Class A and air brakes endorsement within 60 days from hire date.
      •Employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.
      •6-12 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.
      •Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds manually in a repetitive motion; up to 300 pounds using a hand cart; and up to 2000 pounds mechanically
