  General Scope and Summary

  Sage Therapeutics is searching for a detail-oriented scientist to provide operational support for translational science studies. This role will involve extensive communication with external vendors and internal scientists to facilitate the execution of translational science studies and generate high-quality data to support multiple deliverables.

  Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage translational research studies in a matrixed environment.

  • Provide operational support for translational science studies through working with contract research organization (CRO) vendors.

  • Interface with Informatics team to optimize data processing, storage, and study management.

  • Contribute to the preparation of scientific documents: SOWs, protocols, reports, and SOPs.

  • Establish and monitor workflows that enable the execution of translational research.

  Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to work proactively in a highly-collaborative matrix environment.

  • Experience using data informatics tools would be helpful, including electronic notebook systems, databases.

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as R would be helpful, but not required.

  • BS/BA or MS/MA in neuroscience, pharmacology, biomedical science or related scientific discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
