      Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
      Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - Day Shift
      Location: Manton Wood (S80 3FY)

      DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Planner to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

      WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

      • Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
      • Meeting the Network KPI's and exceeding the customer SLA's
      • Using ConnectTMS to build loads, create routes, allocate vehicles, trailers and driver resource to planning deadlines
      • Providing real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given timeframes

      WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

      • Previous transport planning experience is essential, ideally working with FMCG customers
      • Strong understanding of Driver regulations and Working Time Directive
      • Excellent problem solving skills with an analytical approach
      • Good interpersonal skills - both verbal and written
