- Leading and working as a team to be responsible for delivering operational performance and the maintenance of site systems and operational processes
- E nsure the efficient planning and running of the operation, including supporting people management processes when required
- Eff ectively lead site teams operationally and support the Assistant Transport Manager
- Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure optimum performance and efficiency, whilst building positive working relationships with direct reports, peers and 3PLs
- Some experience within a transport environment, with a working knowledge of WTD and drivers’ hours
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, working accurately to strict KPIs
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, to champion a can-do attitude
- CPC would be an advantage

GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven individual for the role of Transport Team Leader. Joining forces with our latest client win TK Max (TJX) you will be based at our new site in Crewe and will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and running of the transport operation.
The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 06.00-18.00 .
Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. You’ll receive 23 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
