      Position Overview

      At Autodesk Construction Solutions, our mission is to help teams meet the world’s expanding building and infrastructure needs, while making construction more predictable, safe and sustainable. We're looking for a Exceptionally motivated User Experience Designer to join our team in creating and delivering our design system, to support other feature teams in Autodesk Construction Solutions. You will partner with a multi-discipline team to craft and deliver experiences for our designers, developers, and end-users. You should have experience with delivering high-quality UI solutions at scale. You should have strong visual and interaction skills as well as experience designing UX solutions. You will report to the Senior Manager of Experience Design, Nexus COE. You will be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

      Responsibilities

      • Design and expand the components, UI patterns, and documentation for internal design system across multiple platforms

      • Collaborate with designers inside and outside of the design system team to understand their design goals and help them adopt the design system

      • Collaborate with other designers and engineers to develop the tools, processes, practices, and define scope and prioritize work to make the most impact

      • Collaborate with teams to adopt components and patterns.

      • Participate in collaboration with Autodesk HIG team and brand team

      • Advocate and contribute to the maturing of experience design discipline at the team and company levels

      Minimum Qualifications

      • 3+ years of experience design with mobile and web applications

      • A passion for, and experience working with, complex design systems that span multiple products

      • Record of strong interaction and visual design skills

      • High familiarity with Figma - being able to provide design guidelines and component library in Thoughtful and Systematic way

      • Visual Design, Design-Thinking, and Prototyping Communication - written, verbal and visual

      • Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools like Jira and Confluence

      • Proficient in user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies

      • Experience with front-end and mobile technology such as React, iOS, Android and how components can be built

      • Comfortable in a collaborative, Dynamic Workplace, with multiple partners

      • Design portfolio to accompany resume

      Salary transparency

      Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $103,200 and $178,090. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
