      Job Description:

      We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join Job Duck and support a fast-paced legal practice. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring daily operations run smoothly by managing case-related documentation, maintaining organized client files, and supporting attorneys with critical administrative tasks. You will be trusted to communicate professionally with clients, handle time-sensitive legal materials, and keep schedules aligned with case demands. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, takes initiative, and can work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Your contribution will directly support case progress and client satisfaction.

      Monthly Compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
      • Track and meet weekly billing targets of 30-35 hours
      • Manage ongoing communication with clients in a professional and responsive manner
      • Support attorneys with administrative and case-related tasks as needed
      • Schedule appointments, hearings, and deadlines using calendar systems
      • Maintain and update client files to ensure accuracy and completeness
      • Collect, organize, and maintain discovery materials and other case-related documents
      • Handle legal notices and court filings accurately and in a timely manner

      Requirements:
      • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
      • Timezone: EST ( Fayetteville, Georgia)
      • Language Requirement: Advanced English proficiency required (written and verbal)

      Experience:
      • Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role required
      • KPI Expectation: Ability to consistently bill 30-35 hours per week

      Tools and Software:
      • Email platforms (e.g., Outlook, Gmail)
      • Calendar management tools
      • Clio (case management software)

      Required Skills
      • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
      • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
      • Experience handling legal documentation and filings
      • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
      • Familiarity with KPI-driven environments and performance tracking
      • Time management and accountability in a remote setting

      Work Shift:

      8:00 AM - 5:00 PM [EST][EDT] (United States of America)
