      Job summary

      The Coordinator will have a role in supporting the Senior Managers of the Vaccination Programme in planning for and delivering an ambitious programme of Covid-19, Flu and other vaccinations and through the development of a system wide Immunisation Strategy for Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (CWICB) in accordance with the JCVI.

      The role is pivotal to ensure that the population of CWICB receive timely access to a high quality and cost effective vaccination service in Coventry and Warwickshire. This post will ensure the administration of the Vaccination Programme runs efficiently.

      The Coordinator is a key member of a multi-disciplinary team providing the day to day programme input into the Vaccination Operations Cell (VOC). The post holder will work with other members of the team to ensure effective system leadership and supporting the effective and efficient planning and deployment of the vaccination programme on behalf of CWICB in accordance with national policy.

      Main duties of the job

      The overall purpose of the post is:

      • Monitoring and maintenance of VOC inbox, ensuring robust processes in place for handover
      • Management and distribution of emails with escalations as required
      • Coordination and support of NHSEI returns within required deadlines with management oversight from Vaccination Programme Manager.
      • Coordination of complaints and enquiries relating to the vaccination programme
      • Ability to use systems and processes relating to vaccination programme, ie Foundry, NBS as examples.
      • Full support and facilitation of meetings including producing and distributing papers in a timely manner, chasing outstanding actions and taking minutes
      • Support the Vaccination Programme Manager and Head of Immunisations in relation to the vaccination programme and inequalities agenda
      • First point of contact for vaccination sites
      • Work with the Vaccination Programme Manager and Head of Immunisations to shape the performance reporting, ie Gold Report and develop suitable reporting dashboards as required;
      • Take responsibility for the analysis and production of a range of reports necessary to manage the Programme (with support from senior colleagues) as required.
