      Vehicle Valuation Expert– Salary of up to £26,000

      Strong customer services background in a vehicle focused environment or worked within a claims handling position before? Then this could be the role for you!

      Managing total loss cases is a critical area of Aviva’s claims operation.

      As a vehicle valuation expert, you will be responsible for indemnity spend per year while making sure we are able to settle claims with our policy holders fairly. Your success significantly impacts Aviva’s success in the market and customer experience, and is directly linked to Aviva’s indemnity spend

      Aviva operate a "Smart working" policy to all of our colleagues- this means you are required to come in to the office atleast 50% of your working week.

      Training is also provided for this position and there is an expectancy to be full time in the office for the first 4-6 weeks - The smart working policy is introduced after the training period.

      A bit about the job:

      Your main objective will be to settle total lost claims early and with accurate valuation, using the aid of an analytics valuation tool and engineer support for complex cases .

      You will also be:

      • Performing valuations on vehicles classified as total loss

      • Liaising with customers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure claims are settled in line with customer satisfaction

      • Providing an excellent level of care and service to Aviva policy holders.

      • Proactively settle claims with up to date diary and post management

      Skills and experience we’re looking for:

      • An understanding of fraud investigations and possible outcomes of investigations (Preferred not essential)

      • Ability to fact find and analyse claim information to identify discrepancies

      • Experience working in insurance claims or fraud investigation and knowledge of UK legislation including The Fraud Act 2006 (desirable)

      • The ability to effectively manage personal workload

      • Excellent communication skills – written and oral

      • Salary of up to £26,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
