      Griffin Animal Care is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team! We empower our staff to fully utilize their expertise while providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

      In This Role, You Will:

      • Support exam room workflow: assist with outpatient care, patient handling, and preparing for appointments
      • Communicate with clients: check-in, review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and answer questions with empathy and clarity
      • Anticipate team needs to keep the schedule running smoothly while maintaining high standards of care
      • Assist technicians and doctors with outpatient and surgical procedures

      Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 4x10s (NO weekends!)

      Full-time benefits and compensation:

      • Compensation: $16-$18/hour, based on experience, **for each hour worked
      • FT Scheduling: Monday-Friday, 4-10s (NO WEEKENDS)
      • Bonus package: $500 based on experience

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • 1+ years of Veterinary Assistant experience
      • Positive, outgoing attitude and enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork
      • Proficiency in:
        • Venipuncture (cephalic and jugular)
        • Exam room assistance and client education
        • Vaccine and medication administration
        • Gentle patient handling and restraint
