What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain accurate and timely data on office and space occupancy in the FAMIS system
- Oversee inventory and surplus property, coordinating with customers and vendors
- Manage an equipment inventory system, ensuring accurate tagging and data collection
- Coordinate and record shipment receipts for gas canisters and other items
- Reconcile shipping costs from FedEx and UPS to appropriate funding sources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain it throughout employment
- Working knowledge of general office/administrative procedures and basic mathematical calculations
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or certification in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of inventory management and fixed asset management
- Experience in data entry and inventory processes
- Experience working in shipping and receiving
