      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with staff, administration, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
      - Design and deliver engaging virtual instruction while maintaining a safe online classroom environment
      - Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet lesson objectives and enhance student learning
      - Monitor and assess student engagement and progress in virtual learning environments
      - Troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide support to students in the online setting

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
      - Valid and current PA special education certificate
      - Clear criminal history and child abuse clearances (Acts 34, 151, and FBI)
      - Ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodations
      - Dependability and punctuality in assigned duties and attendance

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in virtual education or online teaching environments
      - Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
      - Knowledge of emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches in virtual education
      - Strong collaboration skills with colleagues in developing best practices for online special education
      - Proven ability to create an inclusive and positive online classroom community
