      Job Description

      We are looking for a creative and trustworthy Visual Merchandiser to join our Sydney T Galleria.

      The Visual Merchandiser creates attractive store windows, promotional strike points and other in store displays that are kept up to date with the store promotional plans, in line with promotional calendars, whilst maintaining strict compliance to vendor visual display and product presentation standards in stores.

      Key responsibilities:

      • Design and co-ordinate promotional material to enhance products, create interest and generate sales, in line with DFS standards & vendor’s requirements.
      • Maintenance, storage, and movement of in-store and window displays, store signage and prop room.
      • Liaison and negotiation with suppliers ensuring quality, price and delivery requirements are met.
      • Assistance with the planning and implementation of floor changes and store design
      • Driving company vehicles to pick up items from warehouse / suppliers.

      Key Requirements

      Education: High School graduate or equivalent

      Work experience: 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience (Basic Carpentry / building knowledge and experience working with a range of products and materials)

      Licenses / Certifications: Current open driver’s license, Qualification in visual merchandising (preferred)

      The successful candidate must:

      • Able to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays as required by the needs of the business
      • Able to work overtime, as needed
      • Merchandising skills, Signage layout or graphic design skills essential.

      • Time / project management skills

      • Basic Carpentry skills.

      • Manual handling
