      About the Role:

      As VP, Business Operations - Dow Jones Energy, you will own the strategic integration and performance engine across the global Research, Consulting, and Community portfolio. You will work to translate ambitious growth targets into disciplined operating models, scalable infrastructure, and measurable financial outcomes. You will also drive portfolio coherence, margin expansion, and global scalability across high-value research, advisory, and community platforms. You will report to the SVP - Head of Research, Consulting & Community.

      Dow Jones Energy delivers trusted market intelligence, pricing benchmarks, and forward-looking insight to leading energy companies, traders, financial institutions, and governments worldwide. Operating at the center of global commodity markets, we support critical commercial decisions across oil, gas, power, renewables, and the energy transition.

      You Will:

      • Design and implement a unified global operating model that supports the ecosystem of Research, Consulting, and Community

      • Be a senior integration partner to other verticals across Dow Jones Energy, including Product, Editorial, Strategy & Operations, and Marketing

      • Partner with the SVP to operationalize revenue growth and margin expansion targets

      • Build and implement an agile organization that enables the transformation and growth of all research, consulting, and events assets

      • Establish and continuously strengthen unified governance standards and enabling systems across Research, Consulting, and Community

      • Expand control frameworks spanning research methodologies, advisory delivery, event programming, data stewardship, and commercial practices

      • Establish structured initiative tracking frameworks, monitor risk, and ensure alignment between strategic priorities and operational capacity

      • Build the structural and operational foundation required to scale Research, Consulting, and Community offerings across new geographies and emerging energy and commodity sectors

      • Design and lead a high-performing team focused on execution discipline, commercial accountability, and operational excellence

      You Have:

      • At least 15 years’ leadership experience within a B2B information services, research, consulting, or professional services environment - preferably within Energy or commodities

      • Lead complex, multi-line B2B portfolios with clear financial accountability

      • Experience integrating previously distinct teams, service lines, or acquired entities into a cohesive and scalable operating model

      • Demonstrated success scaling advisory, research, or expert services platforms globally.

      • Succeeded in operating within global, matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholders across Product, Editorial, Finance, and Commercial functions

      • A university degree or advanced degree (MBA preferred) -OR- equivalent work experience

      Base Pay Range: $260,000 - $310,000
