  Aerotek is hiring Warehouse Technician - Supply Store

  Responsibilities

  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using material handling equipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely, ensuring it is in safe operating condition.
  • Stock and arrange products to ensure efficient inventory turnover.
  • Perform cycle counts to determine accurate material quantities.
  • Receive materials into inventory and move them between designated locations.
  • Ensure accurate entry of part numbers, quantities, and other data fields impacting electronic records.
  • Resolve discrepancies in material quantities and part numbers.
  • Ensure stable pallets, safe racking, and that aisles are clear.
  • Practice safe material handling techniques and maintain assigned housekeeping duties.
  • Work overtime and weekends as required; this role is designated as Safety Sensitive.

  Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts for loading, unloading, and moving warehouse materials.
  • Adherence to safety procedures and completion of equipment checks.
  • Experience in stocking, organizing, and counting inventory while resolving discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with Oracle platform and RF scan equipment.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain stable pallets and safe racking conditions.
  • Capability to work effectively in a non-temp controlled warehouse setting.
  • Professional demeanor for potential client-facing interactions during loading pickup orders.

  Work Environment

  This position operates within a commercial storefront warehouse setting, working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm with potential for overtime. The warehouse is non-temp controlled, requiring the use of steel-toed boots and work pants or jeans. Logo shirts will be provided. The environment is collaborative, with a small team of three employees working together in a fast-paced, hands-on atmosphere. During the busy season from March to September, the pace picks up, offering a vibrant work experience. Safety is paramount, with steel-toed boots required and a focus on maintaining clear aisles and stable pallets.

  This is a Contract position based out of Jackson, TN.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
