Job Description
- Req#: JP-005911096
- Operate a forklift with training provided for those without prior experience.
- Secure containers by strapping and shrink-wrapping them for safe transportation.
- Work with various hazardous waste strains, conducting processes such as consolidating containers and sorting waste into correct drums.
- Load trucks with up to 60 drums, ensuring quality checks for correct counts and labels.
- Lift materials ranging from 5 to 100 pounds either manually or using a forklift.
- Offload hazardous waste containers from trucks, palletize, strap, shrink wrap, and prepare clean supplies for the next day's service.
- Ability to handle chemical inventory and hazardous materials safely.
- Experience with hazardous waste management and handling.
- Forklift operation skills are preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors throughout the year.
- Reliability and a commitment to long-term employment.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification CFR 1910.20 is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided during the first 1-2 weeks.
- Experience in transportation or service centers is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic, industrial setting that might be considered dirty due to the nature of materials, but it is not unpleasant. Safety gear including steel toe boots, safety vest, safety glasses, and hard hat are provided. The facility operates on a first shift from 4:00am to 12:00pm. Expect to work in outdoor conditions throughout the year.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
