      The Transformation Relationship Lead (IT Business Unit Lead Analyst) is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

      Responsibilities:

      • Contributes to and/or creates internal communications. Creates and prepares reports, metrics and presentations. Provides expertise in own area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of the sub function.

      • Works on mergers & acquisitions and outsourcing/right placement activities.

      • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives. Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level employees; allocates work. Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

      • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services. Persuades and influences others through comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.

      • Tracks business unit performance against the IT business plan and service level agreements; identifies gaps.

      • Acts as subject matter expert to new or lower-level employees. Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.

      • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

      Priorities Include:

      • Advocate and deliver Workforce Planning & Transformation as a service across GCT.

      • Partner with GCT hiring managers and Chiefs of Staff to plan, develop and operational efforts to fulfill workforce demand, both incremental and attrition backfill.

      • Drive workforce efficiencies and trade-off conversations in the financial value of contractor vs employee and related cost saves.

      • Track and report workforce plans, status, progress and financial tradeoffs.

      • Actively seek and operationalize workforce planning as a service, with a focus on hiring process improvement within assigned area.

      • Assist across the GCT organization to implement process/technology improvements.

      Qualifications

      • 6+ years of experience in a technology planning role. Preferably in workforce planning financial services industry.

      • Advanced level of experience in Project Management.

      • Experience in workforce planning, workforce analysis, change management, and relationship building; a knowledge of human resources will also be helpful.

      • Subject matter expert in at least one area of technology planning.

      • Ability to navigate in a large, complex global organization with a demonstrated ability to work across organizational lines and geographic boundaries.

      • Solution oriented, with the experience and ability to solicit action and follow-through from/with business partners and stakeholders.

      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate across audiences and different organizational levels.

      • Effective at prioritizing tasks with multiple priorities, managing time, organizing hiring manager and stakeholder efforts to get things done.

      • Excellent organization skills: must be able to manage disparate tasks, project plans, change management efforts among hiring managers and other stakeholders without solid lines of authority.

      • Strong analytical, strategic thinking skills - must have ability to synthesize, develop and present clear and concise recommendations.

      • Able to work independently yet be a collaborative team player to ensure objective accomplishment to achieve business success.

      • Champions high standards, pushes for progress, embraces change and challenges the status quo.

      • Understanding and experience with technology products, including but not limited to the MS Product Suite.

      Desired Skills:

      • Understanding and experience with workforce technology, including but not limited to Renault, Workday, Fieldglass, etc.

      • Understanding of Citi organizational design, technical systems and operations methodology.

      • Understanding of business intelligence and dashboard tools, analytics, and reporting.

      Education:

      • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.

      • Master's degree preferred.
