- Build, scale, and maintain programs that drive strategic priorities from ideation to implementation, through strong program management principles, hands-on leadership and effective change management.
- Develop strong executive, peer and stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels; partner across functions to support leadership and motivate teams to take action and drive programs to completion.
- Promote thought leadership for new ideas and new ways of executing product/operational initiatives (through effective Agile and project/program management best practices).
- Exhibit excellent judgement on analyzing and solving sensitive cross-functional issues, fostering collaboration between sub-teams and with stakeholders.
- Navigate a fast-paced matrix management environment and think strategically while being able to dig into the details and execute.
- Drive meetings with key stakeholders for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues or risks.
- Manage timelines and provide visibility to program status (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through proactive status reporting (to all stakeholders, team members, and interested parties).
- Drive identification and management of "program/feature" dependencies and program/delivery risks across multiple teams and stakeholders; manage obstacles and risks that slow down or prevent teams from delivering on project goals.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to review existing processes/practices and build or enhance processes/practices in line with Agile principles and best practices.
- Leverage analytical skills, and collaboration with others, to design, implement and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide actionable insights and feedback to product and engineering teams and leaders.
- Drive the execution of the product roadmap with a sense of urgency, using Agile principles and practices, and collaborate with product managers and technology leads on advancing product instrumentation across the platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and technology leads on end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting; escalate opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination.
- 5+ (Associate) 8+ (VP) years project/program management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value through product solutions.
- Detail oriented. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated to acquire relevant business acumen, technical knowledge, best practices and new skill; demonstrated track-record of driving incremental improvements.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities (and associated risks), navigate ambiguous problems, align stakeholders, and hold collaborators accountable for deliverables.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving alignment; ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management, change management activities and continuously manage competing priorities to drive impact.
- Ability to drive and collaborate in solutioning complex problems (e.g., effectively framing problem statement, identifying/sharing relevant information, clarifying options, etc.).
- Strong understanding of product delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes.
- Prior product or related experience in the context of investment management (asset, wealth management) product solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clear and concise with a wide range of audiences, including senior executive stakeholders.
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycle. Strong knowledge of tools that support effective Agile practices, such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana.
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies.
- Flexible to optimize collaboration with technology organization, product users and stakeholders in India during overlapping working hours.
