  East Hamilton Middle
  
  East Hamilton Middle is a 6-8 School located in Ooltewah, TN, just outside of Chattanooga. Our school offers teachers a family-like atmosphere with a collaborative spirit and support for every member of our faculty. Our faculty values a commitment to excellence, focuses on what is best for students, and develops the unique, diverse qualities of our students. We are looking for teachers who are committed to excellence and who are passionate about their subjects and teaching. Our teachers innovate, make efficient use of resources, and embrace our students' diversity.   • Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
  • Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
  • Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

  Qualifications
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Valid Tennessee teaching license in English/Language Arts 6-8, 6-12 English OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program

  • Compensation & Additional Info:

    • Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
    • Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
    • Benefits
    • Licensure
