What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage account creation and administration on both physical and virtual machines
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
- Conduct virtual machine builds on physical server stacks
- Document and maintain servers, creating monitoring reports and logs to ensure system functionality
- Install and administer Windows and Linux servers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, or associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant work experience, or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Sec +, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in a System Administrator role
- Experience with virtualization and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Active Secret security clearance is required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience creating GOLD images and server backups with OS hardening
- Knowledge of routing and switching within network enclaves, including firewall integration
