      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Follow up on denied and appealed claims for maximum reimbursement for services rendered by Yale Medicine
      - Communicate with third-party insurance carriers, patients, and other listed payers regarding payment delays
      - Review and validate charge reviews and claim edits to ensure compliance with Yale Medicine guidelines
      - Document and follow up on claims through payment, rejection, or appeal
      - Assist in resolving account issues and delinquent accounts with the supervisor and collection agency

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Four years of related work experience, with two years in the same job family at the next lower level, or two years of related work experience and an Associate's degree
      - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate tactfully
      - Strong ability to process high-volume workload accurately and professionally
      - Demonstrated record of excellent attendance and punctuality
      - Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Current CPC Certification
      - Knowledge and experience with CPT, ICD10, HCPC, modifiers, and coding edits
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
      - Experience working with EPIC and EPIC work queues
      - Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
