      What is the opportunity?

      As an Account Service Officer, this role is primarily responsible to deliver client service to Global Transaction Banking clients. Responsibilities include processing bank confirmations, account maintenance, resolving unpostable items and providing unique account services such as drawdowns, NDDS, cheque and other stationery orders. We ensure the level of service commitment within Payments and Trade Operations is maintained while “helping our clients thrive and communities prosper”.

      What will you do?

      • Communicate with the Relationship team on any client issues that may arise
      • Provides consistent service within established benchmarks contributing to achievement of business Service Partner Agreement and client Service Level Agreement
      • Responsible to accurately perform verification of pricing and date input into various systems: DDA, BVI, BCRMS and CLS.
      • Provide prompt solutions to client inquiries on all things related to their business banking accounts (email communication)
      • Immediate review, dispatch and preparation of transactions appearing on daily DDA Unpostable and Advance Posted reports ensuring timely response is received and action with pay/no pay from BTC/BBO clients
      • Investigate complex inquiries and engage the appropriate service partners/vendors when required
      • Provides strong support to Manager in handling service/product issues with quick resolution
      • Work with minimal supervision and responsible for completion of all assigned work
      • Champion agility and cross-train effectively within Cash Management Operations

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must Have

      • Sales/Service & Contact Management or Performance Management experience
      • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
      • Strong understanding of BDA account setups
      • Strong knowledge of Fiserv Applications ATF, EE, AE, and IRX
      • Strong knowledge of BVI, ADI, DDA, CLS, BCRMS, and manual preparation of financial entries, ensuring accuracy of data
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction
      • Openness towards coaching and feedback

      • Branch experience
      • Thorough understanding of Global Transaction Banking
      • Operation Centre experience
      • Business Banking & CMO product knowledge (RBC Express, ACH, Wires)
      • Familiarity with International business clients
