Job Description
- Req#: 29617
- Processing accounts and outgoing payment in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
- Checks creditors age analyses, ensuring supporting documentation is verified and attached to purchase orders;
- Accurately capturing invoices in SAP to effect payments on time to all Creditors;
- Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts statements;
- Preparing creditors reconciliation and payment proposal;
- Preparing accruals and processing journals at month end;
- Ensuring that invoices are properly authorized;
- Attends to client/vendor queries and complaints; and files all documentation; and
- Participate in different projects when required.
- Relevant Accounting/Bookkeeping certificate is required;
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working in an accounting environment;
- Understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles,
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite or related software; and
- Must have valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines;
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; and
- Must be willing to work extended hours when required.
