What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform data analysis related to client projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Develop and utilize actuarial models to support client needs
- Draft reports and prepare correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
- Present findings to peers and project managers to facilitate decision-making
- Collaborate with actuaries and principals on various assigned tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completed bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Two or more actuarial exams passed
- Between one and four years of professional actuarial experience, including internships
- Strong technical skills in Excel, with experience in data management and automation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in Property & Casualty reserving and/or pricing
- Proven technical skills in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL, with a preference for R
- Experience in predictive modeling or a strong interest in the field
