  JOB SUMMARY:

  
  The Chemistry department at Adelphi University invites applications for adjunct faculty (part-time) positions.

  SALARY INFORMATION:

  In compliance with New York’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary for this position is $1,866 per credit.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. The successful candidate will be expected to teach general chemistry laboratory, or organic chemistry laboratory.

  
  QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. An advanced degree in any area of chemistry or a closely-related, chemistry-intensive field is required.

  2. A Ph.D. in any area of chemistry or a closely-related, chemistry-intensive field is preferred.
