      The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child Support Services Division.

      The Administrative Assistant works in the Child Support Services Division which provides services to ultimately achieve financial and medical support of children through parental obligations. This position supports the child support program by processing applications, verifying information, and gathering required legal and financial documentation. The role conducts initial research on parent location and assets, determines eligibility for case closures, responds to general inquiries, and provides front‑desk and administrative support.

      Additional Information

      This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.

      This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026.
