Duties include assisting with library related functions or activities; providing administrative tasks such as serving as Library Board Secretary; preparing board meeting packets; attending, recording and transcribing minutes of meetings. Other duties may include researching topics; preparing reports; time keeping; processing and reviewing cash reports; maintaining circulation supplies; and various other administrative tasks. This position interacts with other city departments, schools, city organizations, and members of the public. Duties may require lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. A high school diploma and two years of relevant experience are required. Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills beneficial. The hours vary and may include evenings and/or weekends.
