Job Description

- Must understand and adhere to standardized assessment protocols
- Flexible, willing to work daytime and evenings, and to travel to satellite programs.
- Ability to work with computer-based testing
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred (Creole, Spanish, French, Chinese)
- Proctors will complete training modules for TOPS and certification as a CASAS test proctor
- Arrive early to prepare for scheduled assessments (be sure student ID numbers are on index cards, turn computers on, navigate to online test site)
- Upload tests to desktops in lab or laptops; may need to begin test sessions for satellite locations or remote tests
- Assist with GED/ABE/CDP/ESOL registration and have knowledge of the registration process and paperwork.
- Test students remotely and off site as needed
- Proctor exams
- Record scores on folder and index card and forward to Intake Specialist
- Follow up with students who have not shown up for assessments
- Monitor every candidate during every testing session, for the entire session.
- Report all incidents by completing an Incident Report form provided by Pearson VUE.
- Utilize the Pearson Testing System applications.
- Become a certified Pearson VUE Test Administrator.

Job Description: Test Proctors are responsible for conducting pre and post assessments at Norwich Regional Adult Education in coordination with the Intake Specialist and Program Facilitator
