What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide outpatient clinic services focusing on new patient consults and post-operative follow-ups
- Assist in the operating room alongside the Neurosurgeon
- Contribute to excellence in patient care and evidence-based practice
- Support a team approach to comprehensive, coordinated patient care
- Promote the Riverside Care Difference, emphasizing quality, safety, and service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have completed an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- Current, valid state of Virginia APRN license or eligibility for one
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Valid DEA controlled substance registration
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a collaborative approach to patient care
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in Neurosurgery is preferred but not required
