Assist Doctors and RVTs with procedures. Including but not limited to: restraint for IV catheter placement, ultrasound, radiology, CT, and MRI.
Communicate and coordinate closely with all departments to ensure appropriate accommodation of patient procedures.
Develop positive interpersonal relationships in a busy, multi-departmental setting.
Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to put pets and their owners at ease.
Patient care: walking, feeding,
General housekeeping duties; pet holding areas, treatment areas, and common areas
Willingness to learn and take on additional duties as needed
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Ability to maintain our high standard of care for patients
Ability to prioritize and have a team focus
Animal handling experience is an asset

Compensation: $17.85 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a busy emergency and referral hospital currently seeking an Animal Care Attendant to join our Referral Hospital's Diagnostic Imaging Department. This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operations of the hospital.
