What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond promptly to interpreting sessions and provide friendly and professional interpretation
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol
- Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and enunciation
- Maintain a professional demeanor throughout interpreting sessions
- Follow client instructions and understand protocol and terminology for various industries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Fluency in Anuak and English, including cultural dynamics
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
- Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ability to adapt to technology enhancements for improved service delivery
- Experience in teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation
- Read and write in the requested languages
