      Key Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Manages multiple teams performing operational work within one or multiple Martin Marietta asphalt plants
      • Has responsibility for profit and loss for plant(s) overseen
      • Oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring the teams are on track to safely meet production targets
      • Tracks inventory for and orders materials as needed to ensure production can move forward on a continuous basis
      • Manages the maintenance plan and shutdowns as needed
      • Provides guidance and weighs in on tactical decisions in situations that are unusual
      • Assesses the teamu2019s performance and provides individual development for employees
      • Researches, develops and implements related best practices to operational efficiencies
      • Serves as internal consultant on process and technical issues as they arise
      • Tracks and manages budgets and provides input to funding needs for staff, equipment, etc.
      • Interacts with customers and internal Martin Marietta stakeholders, especially on escalated issues
